OUR HISTORY

Springer Floor Coverings was established by Tim Springer in 1986.  While working for a retail flooring store in the bay area, Tim realized there was a need for quality flooring installers throughout the industry.  He decided to learn the trade and became a sole proprietor flooring installer.  By taking pride in his work and continuing his education through seminars, trade classes, and industry sponsored technical programs, Tim soon became a preferred installer.  He obtained clients such as Red Lion Hotels and Macy’s. 

In 1993 Macy’s requested that Springer Floor Coverings become the sole installation firm for all residential installations sold out of Macy’s stores in the Central Valley.  Tim agreed to take on the endeavor and relocated to the Oakhurst area.  When Macy’s was unable to produce the volume anticipated, Springer Floor Coverings began working in the Fresno area for various flooring retailers.  By providing courteous service and quality work, Springer Floor Coverings soon became a preferred installer in the Fresno and Oakhurst areas as well.

From 1994 to present, Springer Floor Coverings has been doing commercial and residential installations locally and elsewhere.  Springer Floor Coverings has provided services in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and all over California.  Tim currently works with many designers and retailers as well as private home owners.
